De CFMOTO 800MT Sport is een avontuurlijke all-road motorfiets met een vloeistofgekoelde 799 cc paralleltwin-motor, met een vermogen tot ongeveer 95 pk (70 kW) bij 9.000 tpm en een koppel van ca. 77 Nm bij 6.600–7.500 tpm . Dankzij KTM-technologie (zelfde motorbasis als bij de KTM 790 Adventure) combineert hij soepele kracht en compacte afmetingen voor verbeterde beheersbaarheid . Met een rijklaargewicht van rond de 225–231 kg en een brandstoftank van 19 liter, leent hij zich uitstekend voor lange toertochten zonder in te boeten aan wendbaarheid . De zithoogte bedraagt 825 mm, terwijl de vering (KYB upside-down voor en monoshock achter) volledig instelbaar is met respectievelijk 160 mm en 150 mm veerweg . Qua uitrusting biedt de 800MT Sport opvallend veel standaardfuncties: een 7-inch TFT-dashboard met Bluetooth-connectiviteit, cruise control, cornering ABS, slipperkoppeling, LED-verlichting, mistlampen, valbeugels, USB- en 12-V-aansluiting, rijmodi (“Sport” en “Rain”) en zelfs een roll-over sensor en limp mode .
